Liliacs
These beads in the purple hues are actually turquoise pieces that the Chinese have dyed purple. Each bead is totally unique due to each piece of turquoise absorbs the dye differently. We took sterling silver and hand-wired an ornate head pin for the oval bead to rest on and then added a pretty bead cap on the top of the bead. A few other embellishments were added and the earring was complete. Sterling silver leverback ear wires can be changed to whatever ear wire that may be preferred if desired.**The photo enlargement of these earrings simply do not do the beads justice as they are a lovely shade of a medium purple liliac with color variations due to the color up-take of the dye.**
